I am an electrical engineer based in Toronto, with a rich experience of over 20 years in various multitudes of engineering field & product design. I get things done.
Besides being a techy, I love to travel, love the nature and like to try out different cullinery food. I also play musical instruments in my leisure time, with a terrible voice produced some of my own songs in my own home studio, love music from different genres. I enjoy sports - my favorites are football, soccer, cricket, hockey, pingpong (table tennis), long tennis, etc. I am a motorcycle rider during summer to cut cost and cut on my carbon footprint. I also try to be charitable.

Provides consulting services in the field of Electrical and Electronics engineering, Controls and Automation, System Engineering, Audio Visual systems, product development and engineering operation & maintenance services. Started up a new streaming service in 2014 from scratch which involved configuration and maintenance of several linux servers, writing linux bash scripts and setting up crons, monitoring systems and automation. Currently providing operation and maintenance services using linux shell scripts and utilizing API to monitor various cross platform software components to repair or perform actions or generate reports.

MEI (A DIVISION OF PLAN GROUP)
ASST DIRECTOR - INTEGRATED SOLUTIONS
Developed technical capabilities of this newly formed AV division by hiring and training staff and obtaining various certifications, setting up processes, developing relationships with suppliers like Crestron, Extron, Kramer, Biamp, Qsys, Cisco, etc., participated in bidding and winning projects and completed several projects successfully. Projects ranged from 300K to over multimillion dollars and involved custom software and hardware design for high profile customers like RBC Bank of Canada, City of Toronto, Toronto District School Board (TDSB), etc. Due to staff shortages, I had multidisciplinary role from acting PM to designing custom electronic boxes and custom fixtures, rack wiring, soldering, installation, integration and configuration of various audio and video systems (QSC QSYS DSP, Lectrosonics, Renkus-Heinz, Panasonic AW-HE130 PTZ cameras controlled by Newtek tricaster 8000, Grass Valley SDI switchers, extreme network switches, Extron and Crestron converters and extenders, Cisco SX80, RDL, and many other devices and components as well as had to test and commission the whole system. Once the system was commissioned, trained TDSB staff and provided support for the inaugural launch.

PLAN GROUP INC
AV SPECIALIST/PROJECT MANAGER
Managed multi-million dollar PPP (P3) projects as well as provided design, programming, installation, commissioning and technical support. Developed pre-sales AV concept design by reviewing Design Specifications/PSOS in order to provide cost estimation for RFP bidding on new opportunities which led to winning of several high profile infrastructure ontario projects like Humber River Digital Hospital, Joseph Brant Hospital, Milton District Hospital, At humber Hospital project, I implemented for the first time in healthcare industry, industrial grade touchscreens and monitors which I had previously extensively used in industrial automation related jobs. Also, implemented at Humber, open source streaming technology and streaming servers running on linux utilizing wowza, ffmpeg, monit, etc. and trained the hospital IT staff as well as Setup a central control and command center for monitoring all digital systems in the hospital utilizing Christie Digital’s solution. Another high profile project was Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre for which I helped Plan Group develop a subcontractor agreement and helped educate AV subcontractors on P3 projects. I was on site project manager for this multimillion dollar AV components till the substantial closing. As the subject matter expert and only go to person on Audio Visual and Industrial/Building Automation, I was involved in many other small projects and clients involved RBC bank, Dupont, etc.
